CBSE New Rule 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has now made art integrated projects compulsory for all students from class 1 to 10 in the academic session 2025-26. Under the new rule, it will be mandatory for all schools to upload the art integrated project on the ‘Kala Setu Portal’.

If schools download the admit card for the 10th board exam without uploading the project, they will not be able to do so. This instruction has been issued by the board with the aim of promoting art, culture and creativity in school education under the new education policy.

Objective of Kala Setu Portal?

Under this Kala Setu project, all the students will have to display their creativity by connecting with Indian art. This project will be given to the students of class 9th and 10th by the board with the aim of enriching the subject.
